1. Go to EdPuzzle and log-in. Use your rensselaerschools.org account
Watch the assigned Main Idea
2. Go to iXL and log-in.
Go to 5th Grade Language Arts
Finish A.1 and A.2 - to 100%
Work on these for approx. 10 minutes
If you have both of those to 100% - go to 6th Grade A.1 - 100% or 10 minutes whichever comes first

Create a Google Doc named “Positive Vibes.”
I know you are hearing lots of scary and negative things right now.
I want to take a moment to look at all the positive things around us.
Please write about the following things,
What are the positive things around you right now?
What is one positive thing that has come from this situation? Explain yourself.
What is your one “must have” item you must have while you are cooped up in your house?
Why is it important to you?
How is it helping you stay positive?
Please don’t forget about complete sentences, grammar, and punctuation.

Let’s Draw- Pokemon Go
1. Get out a pencil, paper, and crayons.

3. This will take you to Art for kids hub collection of Pokémon characters. Select one you want to draw.
4. Follow along with the video as you draw with a pencil. You can outline with black marker when you are done with your pencil drawing if you like.
5. Color your drawing with crayons or markers.
6. Take a photo
7. Submit it on Canvas under Science April 8 Art
8. Cut out your Pokémon and hang it in a window of your house for others to find
Wouldn’t it be fun to go on a walk and have a scavenger hunt at the same time!
Our school is starting a Color Our World Campaign to keep us healthy, happy, and active.
With a grown up go on a walk and see how many things you can find.
Our primary students are making crayons, rainbows, and butterflies to hang in windows.
Let’s surprise them by making our own Pokémon go game!!!
Then we can hunt for those too!!
